Teaching should be fun, and technology is for students, so why not teachers too. I used a fair amount of technology this year and students loved it, but more is better.

I started to think about all the ways I could make this information work with my students and all the ways I could re-work teaching the math curriculum. I hope to continue to build on what we learned so I can go home and work on building the first few weeks of school!

I found it refreshing to be in a room with colleagues that are excited about the school year and open to new ideas. I am looking forward to developing a stronger web presence, 7/7/2010 10:38:33 pm
The new insight I took away from yesterday's meeting was the connection between the three UDL principals and the three brain networks. The UDL lesson template seems really concisous of these concepts while moving through a hierarchy of lesson delivery.

I was so excited about all the ways I could use this in my classroom to energize and motivate my students. Today I'm hoping to get some more concrete ideas about developing my lessons.

I am excited about the technology. As an inclusion teacher, I can see this as a real benefit for all students.

The technology the students and the staff will use is exciting. It will open up many different worlds to everyone.

I have more ideas about how i can set up my website. I hope to learn more creating my website and establishing links to port huron high for my students. I am very excited about what I can offer to my freshman.
I'm excited that my students will have access to computers on a regular basis. Being able to respond on the computer instead of paper/pencil will be helpful for many of my students.
